Day 26 – Osaka / Kobe / Hiroshima

Today we went to Kobe which was about 1 hour from Osaka, and met with another Nihonjin friend called Sachi.
When we got out of the station we realised it was amazingly cold, so naturally we started walking to the port where it was colder and check out a tourist spot there. After laughing and joking the entire way, we made it there and there was a few famous things / statues etc, and we ended up going into a mall type thing to escape the cold. Here me and Andrew experienced our second polaroid photo booth and as expected it was HILARIOUS.
We ate at a place where I kept ordering Sausage wrap after Sausage wrap to fill me up, then got some kind of hot chocolate with ice cream in it.

Saying goodbye we headed back to Osaka to pick up our massive baggage and head to Hiroshima via Bullet train.
When at Hiroshima we wanted to try an authentic Wagyu BBQ meal. They are very expensive but  it was worth trying it once as the environment is very cool, and you cook your own meat on the BBQ. We didnt really know how to cook it properly however, with sauce dip then bbq or the other way arround etc but either way the meat was VERY tasty.
The meat is infused with fat which apparently the Japanese think tastes way better then without. It was very nice, but I still had to refuse a couple pieces with too much fat, and probably think I like meat without fat! We ended up eating 2 platters between us all the while 3 waiters stood in the background looking at us constantly, and if we made eye contact one would rush over seeying if we needed anything.

Still a bit hungry because I eat like a pregnant Hippopotamus, we went to a very classy desert place.
I got a strawberry cream cheese cake and andrew got a very nice standard cheese cake. The place had a slight retro feel but was still very Japanese, and was very chilled.
